Forward paper-testing, visible by design

Trader

A read-only product site for an automated Micro Nasdaq strategy that is still being proven on paper. The useful signal right now is progress toward the evidence gate, not early profit and loss.

Current status: paper-testing only, not live capital. Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss. Historical research does not predict future performance, and this page is educational rather than financial advice.

Forward progress

Waiting is now measurable.

The system records live-market paper trades every day and shows two streams side by side: the leading research candidate and the older baseline retained for comparison.

Leading 80pt / 4R / EMA-100

Current research candidate. The formal review waits for 50 forward trades.

Legacy 100pt / 3R / EMA-50

Tracked in parallel so the new candidate is compared against the old one.

Gate 50 trades

PF ≥ 1.10 and max drawdown ≤ $3,000 before any next-step review.

The actual dashboard

Progress first, P&L second.

The dashboard makes the trade-count bars dominant because small samples are noisy. A red week, a quiet week, or a handful of losses is not enough to judge the strategy.

Trading model

Simple rules, strict boundaries.

Market

MNQ on five-minute bars during the regular session, flat by the close.

Setup

Opening range breakout aligned with trend. Signals wait for bar close.

Risk

Fixed stop, fixed target, one micro contract in the paper phase.

Review

At 50 trades, arithmetic decides whether to continue, stop, or review.

System boundary

No AI in the order path.

The trading system is deterministic from signal intake through risk checks and order handling. Any analyst or narrative layer is read-only and downstream. This website is static Cloudflare Pages content; it cannot place trades, change risk settings, or mutate journals.
